The Toyota Century is one of the most interesting cars ever produced (in our biased opinion). While it is generally compared with luxury brands such as Rolls Royce, Maybach, etc. it is also full of interesting touches that make it uniquely Japanese. For example, the seats are made of a thick wool rather than leather, as leather can be too loud. The exclusive factory is more artisan workshop than assembly line, as they assemble and hand shape panels, then apply seven layers of paint create a jet black lacquer finish. The phoenix emblem of the Hō'ō (鳳凰) is representative of the Japanese Imperial Family, who have been using the Century since the 60’s. The equipped V12 engine is the only Toyota V12 ever produced, and is truly something special.

The car is almost silent, and drives extremely well. The features list is extraordinary, but includes all creature comforts, including heated seats, rear massage seats, individual climate control, Multi-CD changer, air purifier, and more. If understated luxury and an amazing base for a VIP build is your style, look no further.
